CR Waldon has enjoyed a long history in the explosives industry. It all started with Chaney’s great grandfather working in the coal mines of Crab Orchard Kentucky, to his grandfather working in construction blasting in and around Atlanta for Philips and Jordan. Chaney’s father and uncle also owned a construction blasting business and that is where Chaney would get his start. CR Waldon was created in 1997 as a drilling contractor in the quarry industry and by 1999 Chaney had acquired his explosives license and started drilling and blasting in the construction industry. Except for a brief delay during the recession in 2008, Chaney and Aleisha have kept CR Waldon going strong. Their focus on family, faith and farm has been the foundation of this business and that continues to this day. CR Waldon services all of Georgia and Alabama including Atlanta Metro, Birmingham Metro, Columbus, Auburn and Opelika areas.
